[@Alupi] if the Anathema were turned into grotesque beasts I figured the design would fit the parameters no? However I do indeed have a human version of my monster. And a way for them to transition between the two without using an overused method. 
My proposal is, they were always a beast but found an amulet to return them to their intended human form. Whadya think?
