- Viviana -
[@Sailorsadie] Vivii was only a step away from the hallway when a figure appeared in the doorway causing her to curse softly in french at her poor luck. It wasn't until the figure spoke her native language that she jerked her head up, blue eyes wide. Her irises were nearly sterling silver in color ringed with a darker ocean blue along the outside edge. The panic that covered her face softened slightly when she saw it was the guy who had spoken to her earlier in the day, in the incubation cavern just before they left. This was a much better and safer option than the man from the elevator, her roommate. She shuddered briefly just considering the fact that the man who seemed to already hate her, no more or perhaps less than the snarky girl from before. She closed her eyes briefly, using a technique to calm herself she had learned as a child, something to ground her. Five things, she needed five things; the sound of Laila breathing softly beside her, the softness of the baby blue button down against her skin, the smell of the vanilla and chocolate perfume she always wore, the taste of the cinnamon gum in her mouth. Lastly her eyes flickered open, looking up at the man in the doorway and peering at his hazel eyes. It all took less than a minute, twenty or thirty seconds at most but it kept her from losing her shit as she'd been so close to doing before. She gave a bit of a sad smile before she replied, "Je vais bien, merci." She paused briefly before adding as she looked away from him, "I am, how do you say, not well with crowds. Especially around people I do not know." She scrunched her face softly, cringing at the thought. She took several graceful steps forward, towards Vince as she glanced back up at him. She would have looked over his shoulder to ensure her roommate wasn't going to enter anytime soon but Vince's broad frame filled the doorway. She pushed several tendrils of wavy blonde hair back behind her ear when she was just a foot or so away from him. Twisting her pink lips around into a wry sort of smile that gave away her discomfort for the situations that had occurred before now, Vivii stood partially still. Her finches sleeping softly at her neck, even when she was moving about they often kept close to her simply out of habit. "I met my roommate in the elevator, he doesn't seem to be very fond of me." She admitted softly as she looked up at him, truly looking up despite her height. She often confused people with her delicate slender features that contrasted starkly with her height. She was still quite a bit shorter than Vince though, wringing her hands together in front of her taut stomach just below her chest. In her haste she hadn't realized that several of the lower buttons on her shirt had come undone, revealing a flat stomach covered in soft lightly caramelized skin when she brought her hands up. People, even the reserved people of her home country, were forever telling her that she looked like a fragile ballerina.
