This is because Selena is a rather reserved individual, prefer her own company or that of her cats, than that of others. Perhaps its fear of not wanting to get close to others, or perhaps she just doesn't want to explain her whole sad story, but she tends to avoid others when she doesn't have a need for them. She is rather guarded, but does show a degree of loyalty and compassion that is seldom seen because of her outer, gruff exterior. Because of everything that has happened to her, she prefers to keep people at arms length, never really staying anywhere long enough to develop ties or bonds. She prefers this, as she believes it will prevent herself getting hurt. 

A rather focused individual, Selena focuses on her tasks, hunts and goals without any thought of giving up, showing that she is both determined and stubborn. Because of this she is often quick to anger against those she thinks have done her wrong, which is contrary to her rather calm nature. While Selena likes a good fight, she prefers to settle things in a calmer manner, and does tend to process things inwardly. If you crazy, you may as well talk to yourself.

Due to her never give up attitude, she is more than a little obsessed and dedicated to her trade, and does not feel conflicted being a werecat hunting other supernatural creatures. In fact, she uses her abilities to her advantage in hunts. A deadly trained fighting machine, Selena has no qualms about taking down those who deserve it, although she struggles greatly with the one death she feels responsible for, giving her blue eyes to her panther form. Because of this, Selena wishes to seek vengeance on all werewolves, having more then one reason to have a bias against them. [/color][/indent]

Biography:
[color=firebrick][indent]Selina was born a werecat. Her parents were both werecats, but Selina didn't get a chance to know them. Both were killed by werewolves, an accident, but Selina didn't know that. Nor did the hunter who found her, who took her in, and raised her as his own, teaching her how to be a hunter, he also taught her how to control her werecat sided, when she turned 11, and had her first shift. Their constant traveling enabled him to both control her, and to teach her.

Upon turning 18, Selina earned her high school diploma, using her homeschooling to do so, she then began her own hunting, her foster father retiring. During her time alone, Selina became more independant and skilled at her trade. She specialised in huntint werewolves, tracking them down, and taking them down.
