Well in western culture the grim reaper "escorts the dead to the afterlife" but he doesn't take you by the hand to do it

he's just like "yo dead fam" and then you go to the afterlife, but he's generally seen as an escort 

I think you're trying to apply eastern ideas/concepts to western myth, which won't work that well

It's funny, actually, because Shinigami being escorts of the dead wasn't something that popped up until the 70s, while Dullahan/Ankou are a millennia or more old

The most ironic part? The legends of Dullahan/Ankou inspired the legend of the Grim Reaper, which modern Shinigami are basically rip offs of

Meaning that no matter how you slice it, from a meta perspective, miss breasts is a chinese knockoff of this character
