Ailsa Leisy
Being the only doctor that cared what the clinic looked like, Ailsa was busy dusting shelves. As the light clouds of fluff billowed up, she quickly discovered that she was allergic to dust. Damn it, why-- "ACHOO!" Ailsa sneezed, hand only halfway catching the sound. "Well, that's one more task I'm going to hate doing every week." "Ailsa! We need you at the gates!" a guard said, bursting into the clinic. Ailsa quickly collected herself and--tissue and first aid kit in hand--followed the guard to the gates. There she found the cold, bloody body of the shapeshifter named Ruyn. Ailsa hadn't known him well apart from a few ceremonial meetings in the clinic and hello's when they crossed paths in the street, but her heart clenched at the sight of his corpse. Suddenly she was reminded of all the pain and suffering she'd wanted to escape when she'd first set out for the road. But this was different--she wasn't causing the pain this time. "Bite marks suggest an animal," Ailsa said, examining the wound that stretched from the end of the man's jaw to just above his stomach. The blood was beginning to crust at the edges of the wound, and a few flies drifted around, hungry for a bite. "Most likely a doom lab, but..." Ailsa peered at the wound, frowning. Why didn't the lab eat more of the body? Ailsa wondered briefly, but she quickly reprimanded herself for it. A man just died and you're busy chasing after random questions? Straightening up, Ailsa joined the guards as they waited for Raina to return with Kyle.
