Grant smirked. He truly wished he could explain who Master Ruthven was, and his amazing tale, but he was told to keep quiet about his identity.

He must stay hidden in the shadows for now, for while Dracula would be no match for my master he has more influence and has been awake longer my master. But please, do not believe that I am trying to decieve you. if you wish to stay on the sidelines, I will not move against you. All I ask in return is that if Dracula comes demanding assistance, you deny him. I truly wish for this war to come to end as quickly as possible with as few deaths as possible. And again please do not speak of my intentions to anyone. I do believe I can trust you, which is why I am telling you this."[/color]

Grant dipped his head in respect, crossing his right arm over his chest and resting his hand over his heart. Grant left the room, sniffing for Piper. He remembered she said something about her transformation but she had scurried off before he could say or do anything. He cursed his luck. He could smell Rick, and the disease spreading through his body. He felt sorry, that another poor soul had turned into an abomination, but it could not be helped. When Nora finds out about Rick one of two things will happen. She will be ecstatic about this and will praise him, earning her trust. Or she will curse his very existence and she will be wounded. This made Grant smile. He now had a fury that possessed his very soul, for Nora had hurt Piper. It did not matter she was Pipers maker, no one disrespected Piper in such a manner.

Grant walked out of the manor, leaving his number with a servant for Rick, and looked back it. This manor would soon become a blood bath.
