[@FallenTrinity] The Ladies of Mary 'are known to help out those who are homeless, helpless and in need of guidance.' Would it be possible that they also helped someone and trained him a bit in their ways of fighting without ultimately accepting him as a member ? (I'm assuming that their name in fact implies that they don't accept males in their ranks) The background of my question is that I've a character concept in hold (that once originated from another RP that suddenly had to be discontinued) a major influence of the Ladies of Mary would perfectly fit for (in my thinking).
They could have adopted him until he the templars or Teutonic knights took him but he wouldn't have been with them for very long. Maybe enough to learn the stances but ultimately the other two orders would have taken him. Now the only loophole to this would be if his parents weren't in the picture but an aunt or godmother or grandmother was within that specific order. Then he would have been raised by her until it was time for the templars to take him which once again would still have been very young
