It's likely that they will be called out do the fact that someone accidentally warping into their territory will be noticed. Both the EU and Romans are on high alert due to the war after all. EU is going to be looking for more passive relations while the Romans will probably be a bit more aggressive in their first contact approach but aren't keen to start another war just yet. Also if for know you could do only one or the other that be great.
