Piper had transformed back into her human self as the sun came up. When she awoke she was naked, covered in blood and laying on a cave floor with her arms around Grant. She was stunned to see him there and alive. She looked at her arm that had been shot. As she had healed the bullet had been ejected from her body. Piper remembered what she had done and she cried for the men she had killed. Animals were one thing but humans were entirely different. Her only guess why Grant was still alive was the meds and that she recognized him as her soul mate. 

Piper went to the cave's entrance and the sun was high in the sky. She stepped out and went towards the pond that she had found last night. Once there she went in and cleaned up the blood of her kills off of her skin and hair. When she went to get out she caught a scent in the air and Nora had sent clothes to be delivered to her by one of Dracula's servants. The young woman was obviously a little afraid that she might change and eat her. She put the clothes down and ran away. Piper noticed that there was a blanket to cover Grant as well.

Piper put the clothing on and went back to the cave and wrapped Grant up and hoisted him over her shoulder as she sped back to the house.
