History: A long time alchemist and traveler to exotic locations, Notably to the land of Pandaria and Northrend. Though he has not taken part in the direct conflicts of the horde and the alliance, Thalion has been seen in combat on the regular. Often serving his own ends as a mere mercenary or following a trail of some kind, he is no less skilled with his blades than he is at a desk with pen and paper. Despite his seeming impassiveness to the shadowed world of cloak and dagger killings or the 'acquiring' of one rare ingredient or implement at request of the highest bidder, this ultimately self serving blood elf knows beyond a doubt that his continued selfishness will not benefit his work in the face of the Legions forced entry on Azeroth. 

Rather than working as a bodyguard or a free lance hunter against the demons invasion, Thalion was approached by a former contact with a job and a chance to be a hero. The wardens needed such figures. 

Why are you joining up with the Wardens: Thalion was offered a unique position as an aid to the mysterious wardens. An offer he accepted readily for a mixture of personal gain flimsily disguised as an opportunity to help save the world.
