I think how it would work is as time goes on and manic dwindles eventually the spirites would not be able to interact with anyone but the other dead

Totally get the limits though

My thought process would be no influence and it would be like another form of a curse
To realize you were mortal and that you found your starkissed 
Only to die and watch bad luck happen to them

I figure you'd be able to speak to others that died...then you get reincarnated and go through it all again

Maybe a happy medium would be good lol
