We are just glad that we've had ten good years with her and currently her heart and lungs are clear of the sarcoma. The vet says by the time her body realizes that there is even anything wrong it will be very close to the end. Right now she is happy and pain free with only some mild weight loss as a symptom so we are hopeful that it will remain that way until near the end. We had been suspecting that she might have cancer but there wasn't a way to truly tell until she developed larger tumors close to the surface that could be biopsied. She essentially has end stage, high grade, large cell lymphosarcoma.
