That's one way to look at, and most people probably would see that reasoning . . . but you'll be damn sure that they'll be a bunch of people who probably get tired of being reminded that there is a person in the city who can wipe them out in an instant. I mean, Kotori is basically going to be comparable to the current iteration of Superman in terms of how people respond to her. Some will be grateful, others skeptical, and still more wanting her dead simply because of the danger she could cause, along with allof the other Espers, Mages, and what have you. Like I said, it's like having a nuke being blasted overhead every year, and even if that Nuke is protecting you, it's going to make a good number people nervous as all hell. Edit: On another note, Aiden probably has to restrain every impulse in his body not to do something equally as terrifying, if not more so(in order to show off his superiority), because he doesn't want to give away how powerful he really is. . . yet, anyway.
