Not that Marko thought it was anything against him, the opposite in fact, he presumed that Ray had some things of her own she had to work through. "It's kind to be kind." He was paraphrasing and he knew it, but it felt appropriate to say, or something along those lines. Marko watched Chief, snoring quietly near Ray and decided it might be a good idea to get some sleep himself. "Here. Ray. I think I'm going to turn in myself." It didn't take long, Marko used his backpack like a pillow and the jacket he'd found to try keep himself warm. Despite how exhausted he was, Marko found it hard to fall asleep that night. But eventually to the humming of a lamp post outside, the sound of the infected and his companions breathing he drifted off into the land of nod.
