The streets were quiet, the infected that had been around the shop and general area had moved on to another part of the city like a great hive mind when there was nothing to feed on here. A few stragglers remained but they were harmless once Marko kept his wits about him - he believed. He found it crazy what a month could do to infrastructure made by humans, without maintenance they really couldn't stand the test of time. Sure; looting, panic and the damn infected didn't help the situation but Marko felt now more than ever that an appropriate term for any built up area would be the concrete jungle. "Holy... Shit." He uttered, catching an infected falling from the top of a high skyscraper. The fall seemed to take forever and Marko was mesmerized. Once the body had gone behind buildings blocking his line of sight he made a vocal gesture to Chief and the two continued stalking the streets. Every car, van and truck they came across had been cleaned out of anything of much use. Most of what was left was a whole load of nothing. Marko approached a black, beaten up Volkswagen, the driver seat door had been pulled from it's hinge and the interior was in a general state of disarray. "Well, no biters anyway..." Marko looked down at Chief who was examining his own surroundings, "Alright." He slipped himself into the driver's seat. The vehicle wasn't going anywhere but he'd give it a good once over for anything useful. "Bingo." He muttered, the word grabbing Chief's attention who was now also interested. Marko pulled a bottle of pills from the glove compartment and squinted as he read the label, "Oxycontin, huh?" He slipped the pill bottle into his jacket pocket. "I suppose we should get back or she'll be wondering if we're coming back at all." - "Shit!" Marko hissed, "I think I'm stuck bud." Chief groaned, already inside the shop having being passed through the small open window by Marko. He pressed his palms firmly on the wall and began to pull, it seemed hopeless until like a bullet he flew through the window and crashed onto the floor.
