Skills and combat techniques:

Droid combat techniques are not the most subtle or complicated. Some droids can be programmed with basic tactical sense. Like taking cover or waiting in ambush. 

DV-3X is programmed with some degree of capability and autonomy in that regard. His frame is fairly well armoured and he possesses advanced targeting optics to cut through possible ocular obstructions like vapours and mists. 

He is also able to effect basic to moderate repairs to the ship in cases of emergency. as well as pilot the vessel. As well as assume a variety of ship functions like man a turret or act as ships Stewart. 

Backstory: 

DV-3X-204 is a Czerka corporation ship droid. Fully programmed to serve as on board Stewart and security/anti boarder and piracy functions. He was one of thousands of droids manufactured and stored on board any ships made by Czerka corporation. 

He spent most of his life deactivated until the ship he was stored onboard was stolen. The powering up of the ships systems also initiated his own. Initially he powered up and introduced himself to the jedi who stole the vessel before calmly demanding to see his Czerka approved registration and proof of vehicle ownership. While holding a blaster rifle pointed at his chest.
