[@Antarctic Termite] She is pretty different in the sense that she is a [i]dream[/i] eater instead of a change eater. And while I believe the changes make her different from the others, I think that just overlooking the whole mental connection between all Diaphanes feels like a waste of a good plot.

That is actually what I had in mind for the longest time. Its a common plot not only in anime but also in comics, I guess. (Superman and Zod is that, no?)
