[@TheMinorFall] Actually that wan't my intention, I meant for it to be the perception field around the place, but since you mentioned it I'm gonna go with it.  Not unable, but guests are dampened a bit -- and employees are boosted.  This is especially useful for Zoe and her brothers, who have an excellent nonlethal magic.  Most of the time it takes a full thirty seconds to a minute of uninterrupted staring KO someone, though they might start feeling the impact right away.  Here, it'd be...hm.  For standard folks, ten to twenty seconds.  The more powerful would require up to thirty seconds.  Unless the target is koed, effects dissipate slightly slower than they accrue.
