I have an idea in my head of using resources and points over turns to create a role play in a post apocalyptic zombie world. Foe example, it takes 10 wood to make a fire, 15 stone and 20 wood for a permanent small fire pit. This fire pit can cook meat collected from wild animals, 5 meat is a good meal etc etc. Points of action and resources can be laced into what happens in the Role play and can lead the story in many different ways. Other resources can create defenses and luxuries and these things can effect the security and happiness of characters, as well as the chances of an NPC looking for help/loot. Turns can be action based and as the GM I can control variables such as weather, zombies and other survivors. There could even be competition between survivors. Just an idea in my brain I need to release.
