"Are you... Are you pointing a taser-toy at me?" Hal asked nonchalantly, pointing to the joy buzzer in John's hand. "Anyways... what does this 'Experiment' do anyways and why do you seem so proud about it?" Hal stepped to the side to peek down into the basement where John worked most of his time to invent and research sciency things. Hal was never very interested in science; it bored him with it's logic and math, and most of the reading having words used that made it seem important, but only made it to seem that a man with a lot of free time and brains wrote it out of desperation for a pay-check. That was all before John came along with his doo-dads and chemicals and experiments. Hal's curiosity was piqued and he tried to give science-fiction a change when he was picking out books for his spare time. "Is it dangerous, or surprising, or...?" Hal tried to guess at the possibilities of John's latest project, only to shake his head and turn back to his brother. "Not.. important right now. David, Alice, I and a couple of other brothers and sisters are going to the mall later. Maybe you would like to join us?"
