Ethan Blackledge
The guard dumped Ethan's belongings on the table in front of the girl who introduced herself as Nikki. She then continued to talk about the reasons why they body searched him. "I understand your reasons. Would be a bit smarter of him to be a bit more courteous though." She gestured for him to take a seat. Ethan watched Darius leave the room before taking the seat. The only thing he grabbed off the table was his knuckle dusters which he placed into his pocket as he listened to Nikki. "My names Ethan..." He took a few seconds to compose himself before continuing. He'd only been in the building for a minute and he was already moaning at them. "I do appreciate you letting me in, I don't really want to come across ungrateful." It took him a few more seconds to continue, with everything that had happened in the past half an hour he completely forgot about Dana Point. He felt so guilty for a second but managed to keep a stiff upper lip. Something all English people seemed to be good at. "Well I'm guessing by now that you know I'm from England. The accent is usually a small giveaway." He let out a small laugh trying to keep his morale up. "I'd been at Dana Point for most of the outbreak. I came to the US a few months ago to do a road trip, I was travelling to L A from Vegas when I heard about the outbreak, which was lucky because I was in the middle of no where. The radios said stay away from major cities so I headed south of L A and ended up passing through Dana Point. The people were relatively untouched. They hadn't been affected much by the outbreak but we heard through the radio stations before they stopped broadcasting that the world had turned to shit. Over the weeks, we had a few walkers wondering in on their own. Three days ago..." Ethan struggled to get the next part out. "Walkers flooded Dana Point, they'd killed most of us before we'd even woke up. They must have all come from Los Angeles, I tried... I tried to save people." Ethan looked down, the guilt started to cripple him again. "There was just too many. Everywhere I turned someone else was being bit... Or ripped apart." The images were burnt into his memory. "I stayed outside of the town for a bit, trying to see if people had managed to get out. I'm just hoping some people left in a different direction because I didn't see anyone." It took Ethan a few seconds to catch his breath over the story. "I lost count of how many walkers I've killed, as for people, none, I've had a few scraps but I've never had to kill anyone yet. Any other questions?" Ethan tried to smile but you could see the sadness in his eyes. [@Wick]
