	The station is armed with a nuke for self destruction. If the station would be overan by something like the Blob (huge slime monster.) or Xenomorphs (the Aliens kind.) the station would nuke itself, to prevent the threat from spreading. Also, Martin wasn't threatening. He was just warning them the station would blow, if he was killed.
