With Niesha with him and Ranna near Zach was working hard to deflect the enemy and the doom labs at the same time. Ranna and Kyle were doing the same thing. Ranna didn't want to hurt her own people but they were trying to kill her village, her new people and family.

Charlotte defended herself but was watching her daughter and Zach. They were raised as siblings basically. She loved Zach like a son. When the attacks amped up on his side he amped up his attack and he stepped away from Niesha and he charged up and encircled himself with electricity it was beautiful but terrifying. When he threw his hands forward pushing out from his body there was an explosion of electricity that killed almost everyone in front of him. It drained him of a lot of energy but it took out at least 15 soldiers. 

As he started to look around and make sure where everyone was he caught sight of a metal object flying towards Ranna and he threw himself in front of her and took the knife in the shoulder. He landed on the ground with a loud thump. 

Charlotte screamed and yelled [color=f49ac2]"PULL BACK! STOP!"[/color] At the same time Ranna and Niesha were already on the ground with Zach. Ranna's fear was visible in her eyes. [color=6ecff6]"WE NEED the DOCTOR!"[/color]

Kyle had been fighting when Charlottle had shouted for the fight to stop. Kyle paused for a brief moment. He scurried over to Zach and checked him over. He was hurt bad, and need of immediate attention , but his life was not in immediate danger. Which gave him an idea. At the same time Mabel had made her appearance, slightly tipsy from the previous night. She wore her usual doctor outfit, but wore sunglasses and kept massaging her temples. She came over to Zach and started examining him, and began pulling out medical tools from her bag.

Kyle leaned forward and whispered to Zach and Mabel, [color=0054a6]"Not yet. Just wait for a second."[/color]

Kyle stood up and faced Charlotte. Then he spoke out loud. [color=0054a6]"Not yet! Let him bleed!"[/color]

Kyle rushed forward, with a sword of light in his hand, and pressed the blade very close to Charlotte's neck. [color=0054a6]"It is obvious you care a lot about Zach, even after all this. So here is the deal. Leave now, and Zach will recieve our medical attention. Stay, and Zach dies. Now Zach is a good friend, so if he dies you die."[/color]

Kyle held up his left hand and summoned a wall of light shielding him and Charlotte, seeing how everyone around him was getting restless, and pressed the light blade slightly against the neck of Charlotte. Zach was in pain, but his life was not in danger. Although seeing the way Zach was reacting in pain you could not tell.

Ranna was holding her breath. She knew what Kyle was doing and she knew it had to be done but she didn't like that he was so close to her mother's neck. She could tell by the look of the wound that it wasn't life threatening if treated. She looked at Niesha's expression and winked at her conspiratorially. 

[color=6ecff6]"Mother please! Don't let him die!" [/color]Zach moaned loudly and Ranna pinched him so he would not over do it.

[color=6ecff6]"Mother he is getting weaker!"[/color] Ranna whipped up some tears which wasn't too hard considering the lack of sleep and the stress of the fight.

Charlotte grinned. [color=f49ac2] "We'll go, Far be it from me to deny medical attention to the wounded."[/color] She reached over and moved Kyle's arm away from her neck. She started laughing. [color=f49ac2]"Zach you are still the worst patient ever."[/color] Zach raised his head, grinned and said, [color=92278f]"What? I'm dying over here! And Ranna pinched me."[/color] Ranna laughed and wiped her tears. [color=6ecff6]"Mabel heal him."[/color] Ranna said. 

Mabel groaned slightly in irritation. She pulled out a rag, doused in a liquid, then grabbed the knife and yanked it out of Zachs shoulder ignoring his screams. Mabel pressed the rag against the wound for a few seconds, then grabbed sewing equipment. She began to stitch Zach up. [color=ed1c24]"This is going to take a good minute so dont bother me."[/color]

Zach screamed for real and Ranna nearly tackled Mabel. [color=6ecff6]"You are supposed to be helping not killing him!"[/color]

Kyle sighed and powered down. He was feeling slightly hot, a side effect of his powers. He forgot he can over heat if he uses too much power at once. Kyle took a few steps back and crossed his arms. 

[color=0054a6]"Obsidian shall not be open to you. Leave now."[/color]

Charlotte held her hand to him and she stepped down from the carriage and hesitated but hugged him. [color=0054a6]"You may be young but I think my daughter picked a good man."[/color] Charlotte walked around to Zach, Niesha and Ranna. Ranna was careful not to hurt Zach who had turned pale and truly in pain since Mabel started working on him with her hangover. Ranna hugged her mother. Ranna walked over and wrapped her arms around Kyle and hugged him tight.

Kyle hugged Ranna back and watched Ranna's mother entered her carriage and ordered her troops to retreat. When all the soldiers had left, Kyle walked over to Zach, still holding Ranna. 

[color=0054a6]"Sorry buddy, you know I would never let you die. I am actually more surprised that she actually left. It all seems....too easy."[/color]

Mabel scoffed slightly. [color=ed1c24]"Obviously dumbass, they left way too easily. Now Zach stop screaming like a baby. I can't sew up your wound with you thrashing around."[/color]

Instinct and anger took over and Ranna hit Mabel with a forcefield that sent her flying backwards. Then Ranna got down on her knees and started stitching up Zach herself. [color=6ecff6]"Kyle what are you thinking letting a drunk doctor, talented or not, work on Zach. She was hurting him way more than was necessary. I want her gone!"[/color]

Zach's breathing had become steadier when Ranna had started working on him. She helped Zach to his feet but between the power drain and the blood loss he was very weak. [color=6ecff6]"Come on Niesha we need to get him to his room." [/color]

As Kyle watched Ranna and Niesha walk Zach back to his room, Kyle walked over to Mabel and helped her to her feet.[color=0054a6] "Sorry about her, she um....is sensitive when it comes to Zach."[/color]

Mabel scoffed. [color=ed1c24]"Yea no shit. She gets all flustered, she turns slightly red, she gets physical, blah blah blah. Next thing you know she will stop sleeping with you claiming that she just isnt in the mood. But all the while she is getting down and dirty with Zach."[/color]

Kyle looked annoyed at Mabel and she held up her hands in defeat. [color=ed1c24]"Ok ok, not funny I get it."[/color]

Kyle spoke next. [color=0054a6]"Whatever. You aren't kicked out, but seriously maybe you should stop pissing Ranna off. And anyways....have you......perfected "it" yet?"[/color]

Mabel shook her head. [color=ed1c24]"Not yet. I am so close but everytime I start the process, the more undeveloped cells start mutating and taking over, causing all the other cells and pathogens to go crazy and frenzied."[/color]

Kyle sighed.[color=0054a6] "Well...keep trying."[/color]

When Ranna and Niesha got Zach to his place Ranna made sure he was comfortable and then went to talk to Ailsa leaving him with Niesha in the meantime. Ranna liked her. She seemed to really care about Zach. Zach yelled at her[color=92278f] "I don't need a doctor I just need whiskey." [/color]

A few minutes later there was a knock at the door and Ranna brought him a bottle from the wedding and handed it to Niesha. [color=6ecff6]"Let me know if you need anything and don't let him be bratty. If he gets whiny pinch him. It's what I do."[/color] She chuckled and walked into the room and carefully hugged him. [color=6ecff6]"Thanks for saving my life...again. What is that like the 15th time or so? Get some sleep."[/color] Zach nodded.

Ranna went by the doctor's office just as Ailsa was entering it. [color=6ecff6]"Ailsa, Zach is sewn up and has a bottle of whiskey for pain. That damned Mabel.....that woman has the bedside manner of a mass murderer. Niesha is with him but can you check on him later please."[/color]

Ranna walked back slowly to their apartment and climbed into the shower. She felt filthy and she was so tired. She came out of the shower and dried off and just crawled under the covers.

Kyle and Mabel went their separate ways, Mabel went back to her office and Kyle went over to his captain of his guard but kept a safe distance. Tokala and Kyle exchanged words, as well as with Alexis, and after they did Kyle gave his captain of guard orders to bring everyone back after he cleaned himself up. Luckily there minimal damage. Kyle did his rounds, checking on the tribe's defenses. 

Meanwhile back at the doctors office, Mabel stumbled in taking a sip of whiskey. She noticed Ailsa and smiled.

[color=ed1c24]"Hey there sexy, Im gonna need you to either clear out or not look this way." [/color]

Mabel winked and jokingly showed part of her leg. 

[color=ed1c24]"Or do. I dont care."[/color]

Mabel went to her desk, and started mixing chemicals and adding a small sample of red liquid from a small vial.
