[@Siaya Dragalorn] Also, a word on the hygiene: I dunno if I mentioned any of this. Most everywhere is just how you'd expect it- throwing their waste into the streets, going to bathroom in less-than-fantastic conditions, and if there was a bath, it was water that was boiled and then brought up by servants. However, there are some exceptions to the rule. Whitehall and other magical schools/academies, as well as some of the richer, more magically-inclined castles and the like, have water systems powered and supported by magic- allowing them to have a sort of toilet (still way cleaner than everywhere else) and a shower. Places like Sunder's tower has these sorts of luxuries. Some cities near major magical centers- such as Dragonsreach, the closest town to Whitehall- have been making an effort to improve hygiene. Dragonsreach is the only city, at the moment, to have a sewer, pioneered by one of their City Fathers, and is possibly one of the cleanest cities in all the land. More people would live there (fertile land around it, easy access to fresh water both from well and river, plus the forests that surround Whitehall, which are filled with tons of alchemical ingredients and a wide variety of animals) if it weren't for the fact that the only thing between it and Necromancers/the Barren lands is Whitehall, and that border is still rather close.
