Zach reached for the covers as he kicked his shoes off the bed. He barely managed to get a hold of the covers with his good hand. [color=92278f]"Baby, cover up. I don't want you getting cold."[/color] As sleep overtook him he pulled her closer to him and he held her tightly to him. He slept the deep sleep of those injured or deathly ill. He woke up once in the middle of the night to find her sleeping in his arms and he smiled as he dozed back off.
