Two, you shouldn't have limited it to only the modern world. This setting doesn't really work in that sense as it limits both the characters and the story writers Drastically. Every single idea and plan I had went out the window when you said that. Same for my character. As for simplifying it... Why? You don't have to remember the different worlds, the biggest problem with letting everyone create their own setting is that each player would have to track two settings. That's like playing in two different RPs. How many people on this site stick to only two RPs? Not only that, but everyone having different settings would actually make it harder for you to mix them up.

This is what made me hesitate. I like the basic idea but... I like it because I [s]was[/s] should have been able to create my own universe and mess with someone else’s, while having someone mess with mine.
