Kasuka's much needed nap was interrupted by the voice coming from an intercom. He paid little attention to the man's words, not having much of a choice except going through with the experiment. He let out a loud yawn, the voices and footsteps of people leaving preventing him from sleeping anymore. He got up and sat at the edge of his bed, waiting for someone to come administer whatever was supposed to make them into these hybrids. Kasuka was surprisingly calm compared to those with their heads lowered, gazing at the doorknob and waiting for it to turn. Either way, even if he died, Kasuka would be happy that his mother wouldn't have to work another day in her life along with getting rid of Kasuka which would be an even greater benefit, in his eyes.
