I don't have cookies. This was a super clever hook to get more attention, and it definitely for sure actually worked obviously yes.
Hello! This here is an interest check, obviously, it's one that needed to be made for a long time coming now. There isn't much to say, I want to make stories, and you want to make stories... I think otherwise you wouldn't even be on this site at all, right? So that's basically my entire goal here, come up with compelling concepts then turn those into RPs, but that's definitely easier said than done. A lot of genres, and settings interest me, honestly if pitched in the right away I can be more than willing try to anything out, after all what's wrong with a little bit of experimentation? Come at me with your weird ideas, stuff that I may have never even thought of, I really welcome them. Anyway now for some simple guidelines, not rules per say... well maybe they're a little closer to rules in some cases.
---First thing I wanted to touch on is commitment. Typically you might expect me to say something like, "Try to be committed to what we're doing, and please don't flake out." However I'm not going to do that. After my years of experience with doing this hobby I've found that it really just doesn't work like that. At this point I don't know how many RPs I dropped without a word, and how many my partners disappeared as well; many of them being very promising, or ones I really liked writing. So yeah, I think its pretty human to sort of drop off the face of the Earth, especially since we're on the Internet, its the nature of how things work online where people just come and go. I understand its much easier to say nothing and just move on like nothing happened, so if that does happen know that there will be no hard feelings from me. If a week passes without a word I'll simply assume you're no longer with the RP, no fuss about it. Then if later you do feel like coming back, perhaps you needed a good breather, then absolutely don't think you couldn't. We'll continue as normal, and nothing more will be said on the matter. The only thing I ask here is you allow the same expectations from me, it'll be the exact same for both of us. ---Next is on the subject of romance. I like it simple as that, there's a reason why I put it in the genre tabs. That doesn't mean, however, that its an absolute if it doesn't need to be. There are times when friendship is more than enough for the characters, but other times when it should be more than that, that it becomes love instead. Relationships are always different, people naturally end up loving other people for the normal reasons, physical attraction, compatibility, or maybe for no real specific reason that it kinda just happens. The point I'm getting at here is if it makes sense then yes love will be a thing, but not forced because that's what we as the writers want. Allow it to be fluid and organic, simple as that. Essentially the bottom line is for me romance is encouraged but not mandated. ---Following up on romance is sex. Personally I'm capable and perfectly willing to write smut, hell I can definitely enjoy it, but I also understand its not for everyone. Obviously if done in a thread then no smut, and if you're under 18 then that's the same deal. It doesn't matter if you're mature enough to take it, that's great actually, but as an adult myself its just not a good idea to write out full sex scenes with a minor, real sketchy stuff in the eyes of the law. So yeah to summarize smut is on the table, but only if you're a legal adult. ---Post length. I'll keep this short, all I ask is a good 3 to 4 full bodied paragraphs. Not simply hitting the enter key three times, but something like say the length of my intro at the beginning here. Of course if you can't think of anything substantial to add, then less is fine since fluff is also not all that desirable. I will not strictly enforce this since its a matter of preference more than anything else. ---Posting frequency. Very simple here, if all is going well in life I will go for a post a day, at a minimum. I would love to see the same posting rate from you, but once a week is enough. All that I ask is you let me know is the frequency of posts you'll be shooting for mostly so I don't wait for posts that might not come for a few days. I'll try to do the same as well if I can't meet that once a day quota. ---Last thing I want to go over. Any character of any gender is fine by me, I can write them all without issue. Just in there's romantic intent I'm only willing to go with MxF, and FxF pairings. I feel like I might get this question anyway, so figured I'll just state it right here.
Right with all that taken care of I can give plot ideas I got. Some of these are old ones I've made a while back, others are brand new, and so I'll mark them as such. Also I really LOVE to hear new ideas. Some of the best RPs I've had came from other people's plots. Seriously, if you got something knocking around in that brain of yours then please let it out. I won't bite your head if you decide my stuff isn't to your liking.

Two kingdoms lie on a single, massive continent, with no other options to expand, nor any other major powers present, these two nations war for supremacy. The conflict has lasted for over a decade, both sides are depleted from the extended fighting as there are no longer enough resources, or manpower left, where most of the civilized world is left in ruins, hurting badly that even once loyal men now contemplate rebellion. Despite this neither side will back down, it was clear territory was no longer of concern, no it was complete annihilation, only one country will survive. During another bloody battle, there are two captains who serve their respective powers, both ready to strike down the other in the name of glory witness something else. Like a rolling storm and swiftly as death itself, everything comes to a stop. Every single man is left dead, slayed where they once stood, yet there are two sole survivors; the officers from before, the captains. From this point on it was no longer a two-sided war, now there was a third aggressor poised to overrun the nigh-defeated kingdoms. (For this I haven't come up with whatever the big, mean enemy will be, I'd rather cooperate to create something cool and unique before starting.)

Are you scared of the dark? Well there's reason to be, within the darkest reaches, behind any corner, beyond where even the light can reach, there are blood and flesh monsters. Old legends and wife's tales have a spec of truth to them, werewolves, vampires, cultists, eldritch gods, and forgotten beasts that man cannot even hope to classify, where their own existence bends the laws of reality. Of course such monstrosities would've ruled over the planet eons ago if it were not for a special brand of folk, people who are collectively known by the ever creative name Hunters. Now Hunters aren't an organized bunch, a solo mentality is prevalent; one man tends to keep to his own matters, other Hunters only call each other by an alias, after all most keep their day job, and their old life with it. The methods used by Hunters are varied as humanity itself, still one of the most effective ways to stop the occult is with brute force, a direct assault on whatever evil decided to crop up. To this end anything is fair game really, be it old fashion blades, to modern firepower, despite what one may think a warlock doesn't do too well against a 12 gauge, and even further when Hunters tap into the mystic arts themselves, calling upon the very forces they combat against. This tale is about two newly initiated Hunters, people who were completely normal yesterday and tomorrow will hunt in the night, it is a learn-on-the-job without a mentor, now they will survive because otherwise there wouldn't be a story and that would be boring.

Let it be known from this day forward that we the citizens of The United Empire of Valia are no longer willing to cooperate with the barbaric people of the Samlish Republic, and war has been declared. All able bodied men and women between the ages eighteen to twenty five are hereby drafted into His Majesty's armed forces to fight on His behalf. Any and all eligible persons who fail to report to the nearest recruitment center by the end of this week with be labeled as a traitor then dealt with the harshest penalty(ies) allowed by Imperial Law. Long Lived The Empire! ~From the desk of the Minister of Defense.
This here is a story of war taking place in a world ruled by gunpowder and sorcery. Most people are born as everyday mundane humans as it typically goes, and also in a rather stereotypical style others are given innate talents in the arcane arts. The difference here is while the average man cannot fathom the intense power of magic, he can wield one of the most violent weapons in humanity's history, the rifle. What happens from here is two ordinary citizens from a country known as The United Empire Valia are forced into a brand new conflict. Maybe one would be a member of the elite magi, perhaps both would, or possibly neither. Whatever the case will be, both are inevitably to be become involved in a very personal and direct way whether they accept this fate or not. (By the way, technology can definitely be more advanced up to equivalent levels with World War II. Muskets just sounded a lot catchier for a title.)

It started off in hushed tones for few men were bold enough to raise their voices, yet even now even the meekest soul calls out. A call for blood. It was one sunny morning when the last of the capital city's garrison surrendered, without a doubt the fighting was fierce where the will of the people clashed, quite literally, with loyal steel, and yet even the hardest of metals can be shattered. On that day the king was dead, his head presented before the public it when in that moment that everyone knew the changes that were to come. It was said the deceased ruler had no remaining heirs, that all of his offspring were slaughtered in the conflict, and thus his line came to a close allowing a new lineage to rule the throne so the viscous cycle can continue once more. In reality there there was a survivor. The youngest of the old king's children, and while they were never meant to rule it was still their birthright. This child was left with very little, carrying on with only a single servant in tow, now forced to live among the people keeping their heritage a secret. What happens next depends on the child, from simply living out their life in relative peace, or to start another revolution to retake what rightfully belongs to them. Certainly destiny is never a simple matter.

This idea isn't so much as an actual plot, but a general setting. I've always wanted to write an RP in a feudal Japan world just never really got the chance, so that's what this is all about. Basically everything here is free form, and while not a sandbox since I'd still like there to be a central focus, whatever goes as long as it follows the theme. It also doesn't have to be historical Japan, a fictional world is just fine. You don't even have to come with an idea yourself, simply let me know this is what you're interested in and we'll go brainstorm something up.

If I somehow got your attention, then really don't hesitate to contact me. I just ask you do so through PMs only, I WILL NOT RESPOND TO POSTS ON THIS THREAD. If you do, then you'll be waiting forever, so yeah just save some time and send me a PM.
