It took Liam a full moment of mortification after Korie commented about it being [b]Unfortunate[/b] that they were not dating. Since when had he become [i]this interesting[/i] not only that but it was unfair for his tired brain and socially awkward personality to be double teamed by two girls who were way too aware of the fact that they were pretty. Of Course Korie couldn’t leave it at that; she had to suggest there would be competition for him. There was no way the two of them could be serious. [i]Could they?[/i]  Secretly he hoped they were serious since Arty had ruined his last date. And by ruined he meant [b]Epically[/b] ruined. In fact it had been so bad Liam had dodged more than a few passes people had offhandedly made last semester largely from fear. But these two at least had an idea of what happened around him. Sort of.

It made him bright red and he made it a point of looking right down at his plate. It was really too much. Once upon a time he could have handled the situation smoothly but now he was so out of practice in the social forum that all he could do was studiously avoid eye contact and focus on his food. Of course Korie and Paulina had to be pretty. Of course it was in the middle of people and of course he’d had to exorcise himself [b]twice[/b] tonight. 

[i]Am I really attractive enough to warrant this or is it something else?[/i] He looked up at Korie tentatively. She was grinning, that was a good sign.

At the sound of Alister’s fit Liam immediately looked up and looked at him. [i]Did he really just call Paulina a temptress?[/i] Meeting Korie’s look he flashed her a frown. “Yo, Alister are you okay buddy? Paulina is just playing.” [i]Maybe[/i] Studying Alister Liam kept his eyes from focusing on Alister’s eyes as he looked at his posture. “Do I need to go get someone?”
