For a moment, Stehrr sat there in somewhat of a daze, blinking slowly at the seat which the Face had occupied moments ago, before it seemed to sink in that she had actually left in the middle of the briefing. Something in his intuition told Stehrr she wouldn't be coming back before the briefing finished, either. Despite his earlier outburst at the hairbrush that Kayala had left out in the cockpit to tease him, he got on quite well with Kayala. Not quite well enough to call her a friend, but enough that he still found himself concerned that she was upset. The Wookiee rose to his feet, only to have Doc look in his direction quickly and add in a cautionary tone. "Stehrr, buddy, I really wouldn't follow her if I were you." Stehrr simply looked in Denali's direction and nodded. "《Don't worry, Doc. Stehrr go prepare for mission now, leave Kayala alone.》" with that, the Wookiee excused himself from the meeting and shuffled off to his own section of the dormitories. There he busied himself with sorting through the very few possessions which he had brought with him, gathering together the items that would be of most use to him on the excursion once they touched down on Tatooine. His bowcaster would definitely be required, at best they were bound to encounter thugs of some description and at worst, the Imperial troops would be tipped off to their location. Either way, a confrontation was a likely scenario so he had best be prepared. Ensuring the weapon was in full working order, he slung it into place on his harness across his back, the spare ammunition loaded nearby, and returned to the bridge so he could watch for their approach and bring them in to dock. The last thing they needed was the Face and the Wookiee getting into a fight; there likely wouldn't have been much left of Kayala by the end of it, and despite Luke seeming to think Matthew was more useful in this instance, Kayala's skill in communicating with locals was irreplacable. Perhaps later he could attempt to have a conversation with her about it, they at least seemed to agree that Matthew's man-child tendencies were more annoying than they did good. But right now Kayala needed time on her own, to calm down. Grimacing uncomfortably, the doctor turned his attention back to Luke. "Well, now you've gone and done it, Captain. I hope you've got a good reason for picking Matthew over her."
