[@balthazar007] I have to say that [@lugubrious] makes a really good point there. Although I may stay around for a long time, this RP is taking up an unproportionate amount of my posts in my struggle to amass points haha I'm actually trying to see how fast I can progress here, sorta. Get lazy at times ^_^' Maybe you could lower the price of rare candies? It's pretty unfortunate that I'd have to post a hundred times to be able to evolve a pokemon I can easily catch instead. I actually weighed the benefits--what's the point of ever buying rare candies if you can catch 20 more pokemon instead, counting towards the trainer rank? And then the great ball's only 2x the cost (I do hope I'm getting thede costs right cuz I'm too lazy to check right now) of a rare candy, meaning I should be constantly swapping out my tean instead of bothering to feed the candies. Oh and battles are the same deal. Why should I spend three or so days hashing it out with another player and waiting for them to post when I can easily accumulate posts/trainer points by posting normally? That the pokemon only earns one level from the battle is really sad... I could just post twenty times, get a great ball, and catch an evolved version Overall the points badically say that I'd have to stick around for a few months if I want to get anywhere, and that would definitely put me off if I didn't like Pokemon haha //Edit: Ooo I see the evolution shard and I like it :) But... The great ball is cheaper D: I'd save 5tp by catching an evolved form rather than evolving it... I guess the point could be made that I'd want to keep my pokemon's level, but chances are I could make a lot more posts individually than in battles, therefore racking up points. I'd probably only start participating in battles after getting a nonevolvable pokemon or a pokemon at its highest evolution, so the cost of thr evolution shard... Maybe it should be equal to the great ball? Or give two options--one at 25 to keep level, one at 15 or so to not keep level but evolve the poke. Then, I'd be tempted not to switch out my Fletchling for its evolved for at the first chance :/ Story wise it'd screw me over, but the story is just the story.
