He had been particularly cautious of her even here, and he rarely liked to let her out of his sight if he was able. His attention as he began to eat was snatched by Roy however as he leaned forward, speaking plainly. Lucas remained relatively quiet as Roy spoke, glancing down to the phone as he set it before him. Seeing that he had received the message, and a while back, visibly seemed to put Lucas at ease, he was convinced there would be an assassin right next to him, ready at any point to put a bullet in Risa, now he knew, well, figured, that was not the case. Thoughts still lingered in his mind, that Roy might've been manipulating him, their kind was good at that, especially in a situation such as this. He wasn't sure if there'd ever be a point where he actually trusted Roy, at the very least, it would take time, a lot of time, before he knew for sure the man wouldn't stab either himself of Risa in the back. Reaching down to his pocket, Lucas dragged out his own phone, opening the message he'd been sent of the same situation, setting it down for Roy to read, as if to confirm that he was a part of the group. "I'm Perseus. And no, I don't plan on following orders." He explained as he watched Roy closely. "You don't have to worry about getting a bullet from me unless you give me a reason to give you one." He clarified, continuing to eat as he barely took his eyes off Roy, half expecting the man to grab a gun the second he confirmed he wouldn't be following orders. Things recently had made it very hard for Lucas to trust anyone, especially a member of 'the group' as it were.
