[@Shadow Daedalus]Nope, tracking is the ability to follow imprints, look for signs among foliage, things like broken branches, ect. It doesn't involve engaging a creature and killing it.

Hunting is the ability to bring down game, to engage a beast in combat and kill it.

Someone could be excellent at seeing signs and reading them, and terrible at the combat side, and vice versa. So that's where I'm coming from with this. I know it's a subtle difference and yes, they go together - but they are not the same ^^
