Okay...after reading this a second time, I'm slightly annoyed now. Does Ryteb even [i]want[/i] to participate in the quest?

Edit: Yes, I know, he's only in there to take revenge on Restam, and I don't think Ryteb was told in-universe that he'll get Terra Autum back if the quest succeeds. He'll still be getting Terra Autum back if the quest succeeds.

Edit 2: And what is wrong with the group's ideals? Or working with the rest of the group? Or generally not being an ass towards other PCs for no good reason? Sorry if I sound cranky, but am still slightly annoyed.
