Pre-story: [hider=My Hider] January 20, 2270. A man with short, mildly spiky brown hair with matching brown eyes, at the age of 18 was working in a small VR gaming company. He was a smart man, especially for someone living in such a beat-up town. A town where anyone could attack at any time without warning. Burned houses and stores. Wood patching up burnt holes in buildings. Graffiti everywhere, even on places that would otherwise seem impossible. Perhaps a place like this could inspire anyone to want to make a business that could potentially become big so they can leave that place, but without the required intelligence, it's impossible. He had a group of workers, about four or five of them, they weren't as smart as him, but they were hard workers willing to do whatever he tells them to do. He was a true boss. Their latest game will be an MMORPG, one that once someone signs up and logs in, they will become physically brought into the world through nothing but a press of a button. However, to do something like this, they needed a huge battery, big enough to last forever and still work with tons of people playing the game. They had big hopes of this game, they were going to become rich. This would be the biggest and most widespread MMORPG around. But something went wrong during the creation of this world. The battery despite the size, couldn't even handle one person being in the game. It exploded, killing everyone, except the boss. He completely vanished. Except, he did not vanish, he made it inside the new world. But, it's not. It's nothing but black space everywhere. He was met by a robed woman. Long flowing green hair and scarlet eyes. "Nice to me you, creator." She said to him, flailing around excitedly, "I will grant you one wish, no law." And so the man wished for the world to be made and it all seemed great. Except, he couldn't leave. The two went a year with just the two of them there, but they got bored of the fact they didn't see many people. So the Goddess sent things into Earth to get people into the world, and not just that, she also created other gods to help her maintain the world. She couldn't do it alone, there ended up being too many people within the first day. [/hider] Story: [hider=My Hider] Now it's August 14, 2280, ten years later. News about a man and his apparent sister vanishing after eating a piece of candy comes in on the channel Neko was watching, waiting for the big announcement of his graphic novels. Neko becomes bored of being a shut-in, but he is too lazy to leave his house. "Hey sis I found one!" he says with glee as he points at his screen, displaying a decade old MMORPG. It had everything they demanded in a game like this, even though their tastes opposed each others'. As they log in, they are taken into the world of KiiroSekai. [/hider] -------------------------------------------------------- Laws of KiiroSekai [hider=My Hider] -A newcomer must choose one of three fighting classes (whether they use the fighting class or not isn't important), Warrior, Mage, or Archer. -Only Warriors can use non-thrown blades and metal armour. (Except shields) -Only Mages can use elemental powers (Which they have to choose as well between the four main elements: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. There are two other magic elements that are unlocked when they have mastered every spell of their element, and the element they get is chosen by their alignment. Void and Metal) -Only archers can use wooden weapons that do not resemble blades and throwing metals. -In guarded areas, you may not wound or kill an individual, unless a PVP pact is made, if a PVP pact is made, there must be guards around to take the bodies away. If you are caught attacking another person in a guarded area you will be killed on the spot by unpassable leveled guards (many of them as well) If you kill someone outside of guarded areas, you must wait a week before returning to a guarded area, otherwise a bounty will be placed and you will be open to attack by anyone in the area. -Trades may not be done in buildings, as it is very difficult for guards to see what's going on. This isn't really against the law, but it's highly advised, since you could get killed very easily and have it get past guards. -Do not break into other people's houses. A bounty will be placed. -Mages can only learn moves after a battle, not during a battle. -Death is a very known thing in the animals guild -Everyone in this world are from Earth, only exceptions being the gods. -Gods are not invincible, nor are they immortal. -You cannot die by natural causes. I.E. Age. -You age 1k (1000) times slower in this world, making people assume it's possible to die by age, but it's not possible. I'm making this my first because I know about it the most since it's the story I've been working on for years alongside a couple of friends. One of my two main stories, and my most developed and worked on story at all that is still being worked on. (I am constantly restarting because of dissatisfaction, so I decided to try to learn how to write good and feel satisfied which is why I am here) Anyway, I suppose that's it.
