HP - The amount of damage one can take before falling unconscious. Damage drains ones stamina in battle. Only through experience with withstanding pain can one hope to overcome more pain in the future. As 1 is the weakest damage one can take or give. X12 this weak attack however and it grows to a single deadly strike. The Average individual can only withstand 12 points of damage. This is without training. A trained individual can withstand x16 and this is the starting minimum of a novice. You will then add your Defense Bonus to your 16 HP to get your official HP. WIP Not fully satisfied with this though. I'll get back to it in a minute.
