If it's okay with everyone, I would like to suggest that we go with the plane being the victim of a bomb on board. I hinted at it a little bit earlier in the development. Reasons why: 1. Adds a whole extra dimension to the story at no cost. Not only do we still get the original survival aspect, but the added psychological and plot aspect of someone/some group trying to blow up the plane for some reason that the characters get to figure out over time. 2. Allows for other people to join in later as potential predators of the survivors. Maybe the same perpetrators that planted the bomb need for their to be no survivors for some reason. 3. I think it would be good for the longevity of the game. This sort of goes with item #1 in that it gives us a plot area where we can have total creative freedom. Just wanted to throw this out there. Its been on my mind since we started. Be happy to hear what everyone else thinks.
