My question is how does she even know she has powers yet?

One issue I'm seeing a little that plagues RPs like this is that people get their ability and immediately [i]know[/i]. I'm running my character in such a way that he's carrying around an umbrella because he thinks it's just rainy right now. But as things persist some and he wants to go fly or something, and just [i]wishes[/i] it would clear up things start changing. As he begins to draw connections and conclusions then things start getting more intense.

I think that if we make them just know, then we miss out on a big interaction opportunity and make it kinda unrealistic.

I'd like to clarify that it isn't just you. Others have been showing it. Just food for thought.
