[@Nanashi Ninanai], [@Scio], [@Riffus Maximus], [@January], [@Banjoanjo], [@Menhir]: It's settled; Mikhail can scent the normal bad nature of people, and can detect if someone 'smells worse' than the usual. However, the general sense is distorted by large crowds, as well as the ambient smell of the place due to actual criminals having been allowed in the campus multiple times. It also doesn't help that constantly smelling sulfur does not do wonders for Mikhail's attitude, and he's afraid of turning it off out of paranoia. However, once the crowds fade or the first trial forces him to turn off 'Presumption of Innocence' to save energy, or should something else happen, he'll lighten up.
