Her control was near perfect in this area because she was having a direct effect on a lifeform and felt keen responsibility for it's well being and it supported her willpower. She watched as it's reflection responded in a manner she knew signaled photosynthesis levels were optimal. She was careful not to be too eager for effects to appear knowing that light could dry out the little creature so she monitored the prismatic halo that surrounded it for any increase in water. She did this often in her greenhouses at home encouraged by her mom because of it's value as both a power training exercise and Botany lesson. She knew how light effected sex, germination, growth and even the DNA of Orchid, Corn, Wheat and Tomatoes having done science projects on the subject for her dad who's curiosity matched her own. Then she remembers Phoebe and Katherine sitting with her and sparkles briefly in embarrassment Sorry I was tickling the minion's hunger with my Photonic recipes to see which she liked and to steer her towards a more feminine DNA profile. She prayed that while she was lost in play that neither girl was offended as others had been because they said something important to her that she missed because of her reverie.
