Violet sat at the cafe in town not too far from her house and she read the newspaper. The headlines every day were about the bomb in New York and about the continuing outbreaks of riots and murders of vampires and humans alike all across the country. She shook her head and finished her coffee then she headed home. As soon as she got there she summoned Nora. She knew there were rumors about Vladimir Dracula returning from the dead and she sighed knowing he had to be behind the blood compact being broken. If anyone knew for certain it would be Nora.

Nora was still talking to Ben when she was summoned. [color=6ecff6]"Oh no...Ben I'm being summoned...by Violet. Come with me! She is a good vampire you will like her."[/color]

Ben frowned a little when he heard the name. Violet? Where did he heard this name before... [color=0076a3]"Well, sure thing Nora."[/color] Let's just see who this Violet was, and why the name sounded familair. It could be a trap from Dracula...By his knowledge, there weren't that many Vampires who could summon other Vampires at will. Unless they were powerful. But he trusted Nora. He knew her long enough to know that this wasn't a trap. Otherwise he would have had a bad feeling. He now had a..iniviting feeling. Like he knew that this event might give rise to new world lines. 

Violet lived about an hour and a half by car away from Nora. She knew her summons would be received as she could laready feel her getting closer. Violet went into her living room and flopped onto the couch and when the doorbell rang she got up and walked to the door while still watching the tv. She was laughing when she opened the door. Stepping aside she let Nora in and saw that she wasn't alone. She allowed Ben in as well, curious who he was.

[color=a187be]"Please sit, Nora..."[/color] She turned to Ben and offered her hand. [color=a187be]"I'm Violet Braddock and you are?"[/color]

While he was sitting in the car next to Nora, he thought of how long it has been since he had gotten himself into a car. It was still a weird experience. As if he was sitting in a box that was driving at a very high speed. He got out of the car and followed Nora to the door. Still curious for this Violet person. When the door was opened, he smilled and gave a friendly nod to the person opening the door. This must be this Violet. His one eye still curious looking to the person. [color=0076a3]"Ben Winters. Nice meeting ya."[/color]

Violet smiled, [color=a187be]"Please sit...Can I offer you anything?"[/color] Nora smiled and shook her head. [color=6ecff6]"I'm okay."[/color] She looked at Ben [color=a187be]"...would you like some blood?"[/color] She saw his head movement and she sat in her rocking chair and said, [color=a187be]"I need to know, is he back from the dead Nora?"[/color]

Nora's expression became that of one in fear of her life. She nodded.[color=6ecff6] "Yes and he wants to kill me and my husband. And he wants to take my hybrid daughter as his own so he can try to rule the werewolves."[/color]

Violet nodded, [color=a187be]"It would be a smart plan if it were capable of working. Foolish as he is he thinks that he can kidnap one and the others will fall in line and obey him."[/color] She chuckled in genuine laughter. 

[color=a187be]"Is he responsible for the blood compact being broken?"[/color] Nora nodded. She had to take responsibility for her part. [color=6ecff6]"He made me put the bomb in place."[/color] Nora looked her in the eye so she would know she wasn't lying."

Violet sighed. [color=a187be]"Well Mr. Winters? What do you think should be done about him?"

Ben nodded at the invitation of Violet. You never knew what kind of blood that was. He never trusted blood that was offered to him. He quietly sat down, and began to listen to what Nora and Violet had to say to each other. Ah..so ths is what was happening all the time. He chuckled when he heard about Nora and Dracula. This was quite interesting to hear. So she was the cause that this new worldline had been risen. Intresting. Very intersting indeed. 

[color=0076a3]"Well, I think that that old geezer needs to learn that he just can't go about like he owns the place. So I think it is clear that we should do something."[/color] He sat back and folded his arms. [color=0076a3]"He is a disturbance for this world line."[/color] He said it without a sense of emotion in his voice. Clearly a sign that he wished to eliminate Dracula. 

[color=0076a3]"However, I agree with Violet that he can't rule the werewolves just by kidnapping one of their own. Especially if it's only a young pup. So I think there might be more behind it then just claiming a pup."[/color] This was just a wild guess. He turned to Nora. [color=0076a3]"Aren't there anymore specific persons he wishes to destroy, eradicate, something like that?" [/color]

Nora looked at Ben.[color=6ecff6] "If given the chance he wants to enslave the humans so we would have a permanent blood supply open to us. He wants to kill the werewolves. All of them...."[/color] Nora stopped a look of dawning on her face. 

[color=6ecff6]"Not all of them. Piper is still alive, she can still have children. She was werewolf before vampire so her wolf kept her healed and she is still human in that respect. If he can procreate with Piper and breed a new species of vampire/wolf he could rule all the races and eat anything they want and walk in the daylight having the best of both worlds. That is why he wants her!"[/color] She looked at Violet. [color=6ecff6]"We have to stop him or the race of vampires we are will be destroyed."[/color]

Violet listened and nodded. [color=a187be]"And if he turned wolves he could have them breed as well and he would be their maker and untouchable....basically. Do we know how he came back to begin with?"

Nora said, [color=6ecff6]"There was something about a witch using some kind of demonic magic."
[/color]
Violet nodded, [color=a187be]"of course there was..."[/color] She put her feet down and looked at Ben. [color=a187be]"Any ideas?"[/color]

Ben nodded at what Nora said. [color=0076a3]"Of course."[/color]  Werewolves and Vampires were enemy by nature. But why give in to such primitive drifts? Another reason that stated that Vampires were still animals as well. He continued to listen. That old geezer really wanted to play god now did he? Selective breeding and such. He sighed. This is what happens when intersting individuals got too much powers. You get triggers for worldline such as Nora stated. Really dangerous.

He whistled when he heard about the magic part. So magic hadn't died out at all..very interesting indeed...That gave him an idea. [color=0076a3]"So we just have to fight magic with magic right? Wasn't there some sort of magic weapon that was used to like I don't know. Seal him away? A knife or a stick?"[/color] It helped that Dracula was a Vampire as well. Because of that, Ben knew which ways you could possibly kill him. Even if this was a magicly reincarnated powerful Vampire. The idea was the same. You just needed the right tools to do the same job. 

Violet nodded. [color=a187be]"That sounds plausible, I have worked with witches in the past and there is no way to guarantee that he can't be killed again other than the fact that he might have learned a thing or two from dying the first time. But...so have we. This time we will burn his remains to ash. Has anyone spoken to the council of elder vampires?"[/color]

Nora dropped her head again and nodded. [color=6ecff6]"I did, they attacked us because I took Piper with me. Shortly after we left Dracula had most of the council murdered. There is truly a deficit of authority right now in our world."[/color]

Violet sighed. [color=a187be]"Okay then, I'll have to summon some elders that I know and we'll have to save Piper and kill Dracula and burn his body. Sounds like a plan to me. If most of the vampire world, humanity and the werewolves are after him he will have nowhere to hide." She smiled and stood up. I have plenty of room here if you are afraid to go home."[/color]

Nora nodded and said, [color=6ecff6]"My husband?"[/color] Violet nodded. [color=a187be]"Yes, he may come as well."[/color] Nora nodded and smiled. She pulled out her cell phone and texted Rick to join her as soon as he could.

[color=a187be]"So Mr. Winters...will you stay and help me carry out what needs to be done?"[/color]

He chuckled. When he heard about the witches. So they still do exist indeed. Explained a lot of certain happenings in the past. He continued to listen. Ben's jaw dropped a little bit when he heard about the council. [color=0076a3]"He what?"[/color] he said this more agitated then he wanted. He was aware of this after he said it, and regained his calmness, by sighing deeply. Well was he glad that he declined that invitation by not coming. He decided to listen further. Not saying a word. 

He nodded at Violets question to him. [color=0076a3]"Of course. This disturbance needs to be stopped. I have some ideas, but I prefer to say it when the other elders are here."[/color] He knew that the weapon used to kill Dracula in the first place had to be in this world somewhere...but where?

Violet nodded understanding his position. [color=a187be]"Sounds good."[/color] Her doorbell rang and three men entered and sat down and looked at Violet with a smile. She gave them each a $100 dollar bill and turned to Nora and Ben. 

[color=a187be]"Please be kind in your feeding and heal them afterwards." [/color]Violet was very kind and only drank what she needed never putting her donors in danger. She immediately healed him afterwards. Each of the men stood up and one went to Nora and the other to Ben and offered their blood. [color=a187be]"No worries, as part of our arrangement they are clean and checked out to be disease free every three months."[/color]

Ben was a little bit suprised when he saw three humans entering. After Violet's words, he understood. Still, it has been a while since he had human blood, and he believed Violet on her words. He sat his teeth in the flesh of the man before him, and drank a fair share. Not to much, since he felt that his bloodlust was coming up for a moment. He then healed the man afterwards. He smiled human blood still was one of the best bloodkinds he had ever tasted. [color=0076a3]"Thanks. I really needed that."[/color] 

Nora smiled at her donor and drank her fill and healed him immediately. She liked the way Violet did things. She was up front about it but businesslike as well. Maybe she could learn a few things from her. Violet had the master bedroom upstairs and told the to choose whatever other bedroom they would like. The windows were all tinted and blacked out for her guests. Nora was just grateful that Violet was going to help.
