[b]On the other side of the Milky Way Galaxy...[/b]

A large starship roughly the size of Texas sits in idle mode for quite some time. Days go by and it seems as if Brainiac 5 has taken an interest in this new Legion. Constantly popping up hard light imaging screens of the various cameras he had planted in the Academy as well as the different camera surveillance systems throughout the city of Metropolis. The bio-mechanical man once known as Querl Dox was no more and only the Brainiac side of him remained. He seemed to teleport now, which was never an ability unless a piece of technology was involved like his force field belt. Brainiac 5's 12th level intellect was quickly becoming a 13th level intellect, as he teleported into a lab where a couple corpses of former Legion members were hooked up to machines and in incubating tubes full of some liquid solution. Colossal Boy, now complete with rotting and decaying flesh and a green tint to his skin almost mirroring the complexion of Brainiac, as well as Sun Boy were both dressed in strange black suits. Still in the incubation chambers probably to heal some of the decaying flesh and pieces of their bodies that had fallen off, Brainiac took it another step with his mental reprogramming. He faded into the background and let a life model decoy of his old self before turning traitor appeared before the two former heroes. He pushed a button and the two awoke panicked and scared.

"Sprock! You guys are alive! I told Rokk you weren't quitters..." he began as his voice changed a bit from the more mechanical one he's adopted, "..but he's trying to move on without us. After the team was attacked by the Fatal 5 Cosmic Boy stole Dawnstar from Wildfire after he dissipated into the atmosphere, and dragged Dream Girl's replacement along with him so he knew when somebody was trying to go after him. He's recruited a new Legion to fight at his side but we can't let him steal our lives... the Legion is all we ever had."

As the Coluan finished the two former heroes grew into a zombie-like rage. Brainiac watched on as the giant man grew two inches taller and the eyes of the fire manipulator lit up with flame for a few moments before the liquid solution snuffed them out.

[b]Metropolis, Earth...[/b]

After a brief talk with both Cosmic Boy and the other remaining Legionnaires, 6Speed split into his six individual selves and ran through the Academy to notify each of the new recruits personally instead of blasting info over their communicator/translator flight rings.

"Good news everybody!" 6Speed said almost instantly after he split up throughout the Academy and greeted the others in the group.
