Hmmm while I am no GM -or co-GM for that matter- I think it'd be good if you re-joined the RP. If you wanna use Niernen you could say that, perhaps, the Kamal's catured her and then turned her over to their Dunmer allies or something like that and was sent to the Dwemer ruin -or she oculd join at a later point if/when we come into conflict with Morrowind again- but liek you said you could also start with a new character, either is fine imo.
