Aya slept quietly on her back as she had in life. No one else was in the barracks with her. She woke upon sensing someone in there with her and she sat up, ready to grab her weapon just in case. She sniffed the air. Human? What were they doing here? She looked and she saw Valerian standing there. She froze. "No. You're not here...I must be dreaming...That's it...I must be dreaming...Valerian is safe somewhere..." Her lips were parted slightly as she stared at what she thought was an apparition. She had been seeing apparitions of the other orphans she had saved that night she was supposed to die. Her blue eyes were wide in disbelief.
