☆ Helena ☆ It had been a long few weeks. It had been nice of course, to have someone other than just her boyfriend to talk to on the trip, but that hadn't made the physicalness of the travel any better. It wasn't that terrible, but she certainly would have enjoyed staying back at school a bit more than the weeks in the wagons on rough trails. They'd not come this way on their way from Port Slaughter to the school, but it did start to feel a little bit more like home now, she supposed. She'd enjoyed her time getting to know Annabeth, of course. They had lots of time to sit and chat. And they had plenty of time to sit and not chat too. Not that their not chatting was anything less than innocent, and that was perfectly alright with her.And when they'd not been chatting, she'd taken the time they had to read or doodle when things were smooth enough. Which was much easier to once they'd made it further into the country and thus no longer had the need for the cover constantly. Of course her doodles tended to take on the darkness around them and the little monsters and trees she drew grew more and more twisted as they went along. Finally they made it to their destination, or at least to the last place the drivers were willing to go. She clambered out with the rest of the students, gathered her things up and after double checking that she had everything, headed off with the rest of the group to do her part, green eyes looking around them cautiously.
