[@Daft Monarch]: Isekai 「異世界」 is a Japanese phrase that quite literally means 'another world'. The stories usually entail people being transported (or reincarnated post-mortem) into a fantasy world. This is just a generic, so while it has roots in that subgenre, there is no series it's explicitly based off of.

Cheat... Well, 'cheat' refers to an ability that a character (aka the protagonist) usually gets in these stories. It's usually something they wouldn't have otherwise. Some classic examples include enhanced parameters, pocket dimensions, bottomless mana, etc;.
Of course, since this is an RP, I'm going to be balancing for that. So... In essence, a 'newcomer' just... Well, starts with benefits so they don't kick the bucket five minutes into the story.
