As soon as the gun went off, Delta bolted. It was time to use some of his nervous energy. He didn't even notice he had entered the jungle, his mind too focused on finding a river. Preferably the one he had pictured. Instructions still fresh in his mind he ran deeper into the trees. He didn't want to get left behind, and from what he understood being together against a threat is better than being alone. "Head towards the water then curve right and away from the river if you want to meet... I'll give you seven minutes." "Seven minutes..." How many had passed? Fox began to slow down. He didn't think he was in any imminent danger. The threats were back there, so far away. Not as far away as he wanted. Delta slowed to a walking pace. He wondered if he would even find a river. He just picked a direction and ran. So much for not being alone. He slowed even more, anxious and angry thoughts filling his mind. He was going to die out here. What's the point in finding the river, he was going to die anyway... Fox kicked a pebble. He froze when he heard the splash. His mind bucked back into overdrive. Streams lead to rivers right? The river will lead to people. The stream will take me where I need to go. The stream will take me to safety! With a very happy hop, he began running alongside the stream, hoping to find the river and perhaps his salvation. [@Life] [@Raizin] [@LitCabbit]
