[@Andreyich] They are mentioned as a disparate people, some still serving in the Guard, while others live isolated across the Imperium. I'm not adverse to the idea, I simply fail to see why you'd bother having a Squat when a broad and bearded (or not) human would do just as well...

If you're really all that keen though, and can come up with a good reason why they'd be part of the Emperor's Glorious Navy, then I'll consider it.
