It doesn't help that since Yuuno had been giving Asahi the cold shoulder, his thoughts had been going to more immediate issues. That's not to say that Yuuno isn't important to Asahi, but up till now Asahi never even though he'd have a chance with her until he's done some serious character development. Thus, he must focus on a challenge that he feels he could surmount (Eris), but not with just brute force.
