I'm sorry that such an awful thing's happened to you. I don't know what I'd do in such a situation, man. I know I'd freak out and probably try to beat up the dude who trespassed into my relationship, but that'd probably land me in jail.

I'm not one to give good advice, so maybe keep it simple and straight forward? Sit down, take a deep breath and ask yourself who you are and what you stand for. If you find it in your heart to forgive your partner, then do so. There really is no wrong answer here. Neither is there a right one.

Edit: if all else fails and you begin to panic, do the thing you feel you'll regret less in the long run.
